Golf book includes Minnetonka-area courses

Just thought I would pass along word of Minnesota's newest golf book:

The book is "Fore! Gone. Minnesota's Lost Golf Courses, 1897-1999." The author is St. Paul Pioneer Press sports copy editor Joe Bissen of White Bear Lake. (Yes, that's me.) The book describes the then-and-now of more than 80 abandoned golf courses in Minnesota, including layouts in Deephaven, Chanhassen and Mound. The book is 240 pages and features photographs from noted Minnesota golf photographer Peter Wong.

The book's price is $19.95. It is available at my website, ForeGoneGolf.com, or on Amazon.com. I will be holding a book signing on Saturday, Feb. 8, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at 2nd Swing Golf Minnetonka, 13031 Ridgedale Drive.
