PHOTO GALLERY: Savvy Shoppers Sport Sleepwear for a Cause

The General Store of Minnetonka hosted their annual pajama party on Thursday evening.

Thursday evening, more than 150 people—many clad in their pajamas—showed up at the for the Eighth Annual Pajama Party Fundraiser. 

This year’s event was a benefit for Intercongregation Communities Association, a Minnetonka-based food bank. Ten percent of the evening’s profits were donated to , according to store spokeswoman Jenny Putnam.

Footie-clad participants from age eight to eighty years were served free hot chocolate and sweet midnight snacks.

Customers wearing sleepwear were given a chance to spin a wheel for prizes worth more than $175

Jill Biatek (sporting a red bathrobe) and daughter Kristen Biatek, Minnetonka, have attended all eight of the events.

“If we shop ‘til we drop, at least we’ll be comfortable,” said Kristen.
