Looking for a Job? Big Thrill Factory Is Hiring

Owners hope to fill 80 positions before opening March 1.

The Big Thrill Factory, a new recreation center going into the former Kmart building on Highway 7 and County Road 101, is hiring.

Owner Michelle Lynch said they are starting the hiring process and planning a job fair in January before the planned opening date of March 1.

The job fair will be Jan. 13-14. On Sunday, Jan 13, the fair will be hosted from 1-5 p.m. and on Monday, Jan. 14, from 4-8 p.m. at the Big Thrill Factory location.

Activities at the center include bowling, bumper cars, laser tag, arcade, a black light rope course and a "Fun Factory" playground designed for kids.

The center will include a café serving food and alcoholic beverages, complete with a party area. It will include 13,839 square feet of outdoor space for mini golf, trampolines, a climbing wall and spider climbs.
