Last Tenant to Fill Former Blockbuster Building Announced

Is it Chipotle?

Since the Blockbuster on County Road 101 near in Minnetonka closed in 2011, there has been much speculation surrounding the retail stores and especially the restaurant that would potentially open in the .

A group of Facebook when the city of Minnetonka issued a conditional use permit for a fast food restaurant complete with outdoor seating and a drive through.

Three businesses laying claim to the four-tenant building are Massage Envy, T-Mobile and Pro-Cuts. Only the space at the end of the building next to Pro-Cuts had remained empty and unidentified. So, what will be the fourth business?

It’s a Caribou Coffee, according to Peter Armbrust, leasing agent at Cushman and Wakefield, which is leasing the building for owners 7-Hi Retail LLC.

The Caribou Coffee currently located in Westwind Plaza will only have to move across the street to its new home, where it will gain a drive through.
