Chipotle Is On the Way to Westwind Plaza in Minnetonka

Chipotle Mexican Grill will occupy the former Bruegger's Bagels and Caribou Coffee space.

Last February, a group of about 600 began a petition on Facebook asking for Chipotle Mexican Grill to locate near the intersection of Highway 7 and County Road 101. They are about to get their wish.

Chipotle will occupy the former Caribou Coffee and Bruegger’s Bagels spaces in Westwind Plaza (4717 County Rd 101).

Renovations to the building will include a complete rewmodeling of the interior into a single tenant space and updated exterior.

An outdoor patio dining area has been proposed to the city of Minnetonka. The patio would be located on the south side of the space on a wide section of existing sidewalk, fully enclosed by a permanent railing.

The city's planning commission will discuss the patio proposal on Nov. 29 and plans to send it to the city council on Dec. 3 for a final decision.

There is an existing Chipotle Mexican Grill location in Minnetonka's Ridgedale Shopping Center at the south entrance.

Why aren't there any drug stores or gas stations in Minnetonka

There are - there's a Walgreen's on the NW corner of Hwy. 101 & 7, for one. There are also plenty of gas stations! What I'd like to know is why aren't there more affordable, reasonably-priced restaurants in MN other than fast food.

Hoagies Restaurant in Hopkins has great breakfast, very reasonably price. Mainstreets in Hopkins also has great food at a decent price too.

Beanhaven Cafe in Deephaven has great food and prices, Famous Dave's, Sunsets, Maynard's, Ike's, Spasso--there are many options available for good food at affordable/reasonable prices!

Always seeing teasers about Chipoltle but never any time frame. Some of us are eager for this arrival/opening. As to the other comments. I would also love to have more restaurants in Minnetonka itself. Does no good if in the outlaying cities, although I do enjoy those cities. I think Minnetonka is big enough for more restaurants.

Ugh, I was really hoping it would be something else, like a Noodles. I will never eat at Chipotle after I got food poisoning at one.
