A Minnetonka neighborhood got more of a show than they bargained for on Monday evening.

A naked person was spotted walking down the street on James Road near the intersection of Fairview Avenue in Minnetonka at about 8 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 13.

The person was identified as a 17-year-old male juvenile, so his name was not released.

A homeowner living in the neighborhood told Patch he saw the shed clothing on the street.

The boy ran from officers, and then appered to enter a home on the 12000 block of James Road. Police then followed him into the woods behind the house.

The boy was eventually cuffed by but remained uncooperative. EMTs responded to the scene, and the boy was apparently restrained.

As of 1 p.m. on Tuesday, the boy had not yet been charged, but Minnetonka Police Captain Scott Boerboom said they are looking at charges of damage to property and obstruction of justice.

Boerboom said they suspect the boy was under the influence but are not sure if it was drugs or alcohol.

Why didn't they say..A drugged up teenage? Just because he was naked really doesn't matter unless he was doing something nasty or vulgar. There isn't anything bad about non sexual nudity. Now if he was walking swing his thing then that is a different story. People make to big a deal over simple nudity. He could of had a gun and a machete and people would only say that a naked man is walking do the street. Get real people.
