Parenting a Child With an Eating Disorder

Parenting a child with an eating disorder can be isolating since most people around us don’t understand these complex, deadly brain illnesses.

What does LONELINESS have to do with being the parent of a child with an eating disorder?

Parents of a child with an eating disorder, have you found sufficient help, hope and healing?

Parenting a child with an eating disorder can be isolating since most people around us don’t understand these complex, deadly brain illnesses. When we’re left on our own our concerns can become all consuming.

If you had hope, help and healing; what form would that be in? Would connecting with other parents who have been there help you? Would being on the phone once a week calm you if you received tools for coping as well as reassurance that you’re not at fault calm you?

How does your loneliness and isolation impact your child with an eating disorder?

We’d love to hear your thoughts! The next Hope Network Parent Programs 6-week tele-classseries will be starting soon, think about bringing your voice to the conversation.
