Eating Disorders and THE HOLIDAYS

Becky Henry of Hope Network, LLC shares tips and resources for coping with Thanksgiving and the holiday season. Check out her video with a free offer for support during this time.

Happy Thanksgiving! I’m grateful for you, my readers!

Radio Interview on WCCO!

Given that Thanksgiving is typically the most difficult holiday for those with eating disorders and food issues I made sure to get a radio interview on this topic. Last Sunday WCCO’s own Roshini Rajkumar interviewed me on her show: News and Views about Eating Disorders and the holidays. You can listen in here on my SoundCloud channel.

More tips on surviving food issues and the holidays are on my facebook pages as many of my colleagues are writing wonderful articles that I’ve been sharing there. The Huffington Post carried a wonderfully helpful article by Dr. Michelle May called, Save the Stuffing for the Turkey. Dr. May is Author of, ‘Eat What You Love, Love What You Eat’ and Founder of Am I Hungry? Mindful Eating Workshops and Facilitator Training Program.

Happy Thanksgiving Video greeting and FREE offer! I couldn’t figure out how to get the video to embed here with my picture…I like to think I’m demonstrating not being perfect.  Be well my friends.

PS. I’m off to the FEAST conference in DC next week and will be tweeting @HopeNetworkBeck #FEAST2012. The conference will be live streamed for those who can’t make it.
