What is dance? How do people create dance? How do people choose music for a dance? Whether you choreograph dances in your sleep, hear music and have to move, or get scared when asked to make-up a dance, this camp is for you. In this workshop, dancers will learn the tools of choreography while focusing on the elements and concepts of dance. Through games, activities, and explorations, dancers will improve their lyrical/jazz technique while developing choreography skills. Dancers will work with partners and on their own to choreograph dances to be performed at the Wayzata Arts Experience June 23 & 24 and learn how to make their “5-6-7-8” truly great!
