Young, Single Website ISO Someone Who Will ‘Bloggle’ My Mind

Minnetonka Patch needs community members who are enthusiastic about their interests and have the courage of their convictions to be part of the new blogging team.

Hi! My name is Minnetonka Patch. (Don’t laugh; my parents were hippies.) I’m a nearly 7-month-old website who enjoys a great story, even better comments and conversation, meeting new people and massive quantities of caffeine.

I’m looking for a team of bloggers who know their way around a keyboard and can keep my readers and me on our toes with a combination of unique insights and dazzling syntax. My ideal matches would meet the following criteria:

Age/Race/Sex: Open to everyone

Location: Preferably within Minnetonka.

Interests: The sky’s the limit! If you’re a student or teacher, musician or artist, a gamer, a foodie, a big sports buff, a proud parent, into the local political scene, an active church member, an emergency responder, a business owner, sartorially savvy, a volunteer, etc., you’re the one for me!

Commitment level: I’m easygoing; make it whatever you can handle. You can post entries several times a day, or once a month, or some amount in between those extremes.

Turnoffs: Although I’m pretty open-minded when it comes to this relationship, I do have a deal breaker—no unfounded, libelous or vindictive claims. Make sure anything you publish can be backed up with good, credible evidence. Don’t write that your neighbor is running a sweatshop out of his shed just because you overheard someone else say that. If you get a speeding ticket, don’t state that the police chief is a corrupt so-and-so who invites Satan to Sunday night dinner every week.

Money Talk: You’ll blog for free, but you will own your work, as well as gain exposure from a website (that’s me) that receives thousands of unique visitors each month.
