PB&J Malts and Candied Bacon Cannoli: New Foods at 2013 Minnesota State Fair
by Scott Carlson
Deep fried olives, taco sliders, and peanut butter and jelly malts will be among 47 new foods at this summer's Minnesota State Fair, fair officials announced Wednesday.
The list of new food fare at the fair also includes candied bacon cannoli, the creation of Roseville's Pam Olson and daughter Marta Lindsey. The mother-daughter duo will be in their second year running Ole's Cannoli, an Italian dessert food stand at Heritage Square at the State Fairgrounds.
