Minnetonka Police Blotter: Animal Bites and DWIs

All information taken from the Crime Activity Report.

July 8

10:04 p.m.: a 28 year old female from Minnetonka was arrested in front of her home on the 3900 block of Colgate Avenue for 4th degree DWI.

July 10

2:18 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 10600 block of Smetana Road for a reported assault.

8:52 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 4900 block of Beacon Hill Road for a reported animal bite.

July 11

9:15 p.m.: a 22 year old male from Burnsville was arrested at Bren Road and Highway 169 for 4th degree DWI.

July 12

7:43 p.m.: a 26 year old male from Minneapolis was arrested at  11032 Cedar Lake Road () for driving without a license. This man was carrying $5,000 in cash upon arrest.

July 13

10:42 p.m.: a 61 year old male from Minnetonka was arrested in front of his home on the 12600 block of Lake Street Extension for 3rd degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor. This man was previously charged with a 4th degree DWI in 2010.

July 15

1:19 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to Creek Ridge Pass and Josephs Point for a reported DWI. A  20 year old male from Chanhassen was arrested for 5th degree dangerous drug possession, a felony, and 4th DWI, a misdemeanor. This individual has previously been charged with 3 counts of underage liquor consumption, theft and possession of drug paraphernalia.

2:07 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to I-394 and Plymouth Road for a reported DWI. A 30 year old male from Minnetonka was arrested for 3rd degree DWI. This man was previously charged with possession of dangerous weapons, fleeing a Peace Officer in a motor vehicle, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, 5th degree assault, DWI, domestic assault, terroristic threats, and driving with a revoked license.

8:46 a.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to an apartment building at 12300 Marion Lane W for a reported burglary.

2:21 p.m.: a 41 year old female from St. Paul was arrested at 13153 Ridgedale Drive () for fraudulent activities, a felony. This woman was previously charged with two counts of check forgery.

10:55 p.m. Minnetonka Police were dispatched to I-394 and Ridgedale Drive for a reported DWI. A 29 year old female from Waverly was in fact arrested for 3rd degree DWI, a gross misdemeanor. This woman has previously been charged with 4th degree DWI, having a passenger with an open bottle, speeding, check forgery, no proof of insurance and no proof of driver’s license.

July 16

12:18 p.m.: Minnetonka Police were dispatched to the 15500 block of Willowood Drive for a reported animal bite.

July 17

6:03 p.m.: a 31 year old male from Minnetonka was arrested from his home on the 4700 block of Eastwood Road for domestic assault and violating an order for protection, both misdemeanors. This man has previously been charged with disorderly conduct, underage drinking, DUI, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle, possession of fireworks and careless driving.
