Halloween Events in Minnetonka

Spooktacular concerts and outdoor family events are planned in October.

Looking for some fun Halloween- or autumn-themed events in Minnetonka?

Here's what we've found in the month of October so far:

Spooktacular Concert

Join the Minnetonka Symphony Orchestra and its cast of ghosts and goblins in a fun afternoon of scary and sometimes silly music, marching and laughing. Wear a costume if you like, bring the kids and relatives, and have a great time at the Halloween Spooktacular! Concerts are free. Two performances in October:

Minnetonka's Fall Fun Fest

Enjoy a day of outdoor fall fun with children ages 1–10 on Sunday, Oct. 21 from 1–3 p.m. at the Minnetonka Outdoor Amphitheater.

Activities include musical entertainment by Jack Pearson, storytellers, hayrides, face painting, pumpkin painting, hot apple cider by the fire, games, treats and more. Costumes are encouraged, but not required.

Registration is required for this event. All registered participants will receive a treat bag. Children must be accompanied by an adult, and adults are free. In case of rain, the event will be moved into the Minnetonka Community Center.

Cost is $8 per child. Call 952-939-8203 to register. 

GreyStone Manor Haunted House

  • Where: 5510 Mahoney Avenue, Minnetonka
  • Why Go: The Greystone Manor , returning for its 16th year, is a family run haunted house with the goal of collecting donations for the local food shelf. Last year, they collected 383 pounds of food from 799 people who came to check out the haunted house.
  • Price: Free with a non-perishable donation.

Ridgedale YMCA Halloween Party

Ridgedale YMCA hosts their annual Halloween Party which includes games, food, fun and a haunted house on Oct. 27 from 4-6 p.m. The party is open to the public. Last year the YMCA hosted 200 guests at their party.

Ghouls & Goblins in the Garden

Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 27 and 28, noon-4 p.m.

Trick or treat on the wild side this Halloween at the Arboretum! Check out the spooky forest filled with kid-friendly ghouls and the Wildflower Garden trail teeming with goblins. Stop at the trick or treat stations to fill your treat bag and participate in exciting activities. Cost is $5 for adults ($10 after Oct. 26) and $3 for ages 3-12 plus Arboretum gate admission.

Celebrate Halloween at Adogo Pet Hotel

Want to celebrate Halloween with your pet?

Help raise funds for the organization Can Do Canines, which helps provide assistance dogs for the disabled, on Sunday, Oct. 28 from 1-4 p.m. when Adogo Pet Hotel in Minnetonka will throw a Halloween Party and Costume Contest.

Enter the costume contest beginning at 1 p.m. for $25. Call Adogo to sign up at 952-933-5200.

Adogo will award prizes and provide plenty of goodies for dog owners and their pooches.
