Saturday, Feb. 5

9:30 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.: State Sen. and State Rep. will hold a town hall meeting for Minnetonka residents at .

10:00 a.m.: Head to Minnetonka High School to cheer on the Minnetonka gymnastics team as they compete in the Minnetonka Gymnastics Varsity Invitational. Other teams competing include Eden Prairie, Southwest Minneapolis, Wayzata and Woodbury.

10:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.: Does your child need to burn off some extra energy? Head to the at. For children ages 18mo-5yrs, this gym is perfect for running, throwing balls, climbing and playing games. Open gym is offered in two sessions: 10am - 11am and 11:15am- 12:15pm. Space is limited, so don't be late!

11:00 a.m.: Who says you can't swim in Minnesota during the winter? Come to the  time at the Minnetonka Aquatics Center. Located at , the center will have a qualified lifeguard on duty. Children who cannot swim must be accompanied by an adult. Lap swimmers are welcome. Shower and locker rooms are available. All you need is a suit, towel and lock for your locker. Please pay the lifeguard $3 per swimmer before diving in!

12:30 p.m.:  State Sen. will join State Rep. to host a town hall meeting for Minnetonka and Eden Prairie residents in the Eden Prairie Library's large meeting room.

2:00 p.m.: Is your puppy looking for a buddy?  Head to Ridgedale PETCO for puppy playtime. The first block (2:00 p.m. – 2:30 p.m.) is reserved for small puppies, younger than 6 months and under 20 pounds. Immediately following, the second block is for the larger and older puppies. Also, don’t forget that on Saturdays at 11:oo a.m., Ridgedale PETCO has pets on hand who need homes.

5:00 p.m.: Want to try the wine before taking it home? Then head to Pairings for free tastings in the Wine Market!At Pairings, their mission to help customers learn about food and wine and enjoy them together as they were meant to be. 

6:30 p.m.: The Dream Makers Dinner is an annual event sponsored by The at which the community gathers to raise much-needed funds in support of innovative educational programs.  This fun-filled evening is a celebration of Minnetonka schools and features a "Taste of Tonka" with delicious food from several local restaurants, silent and live auctions, music and dancing.  All parents, teachers, staff and friends of the Minnetonka School District are warmly encouraged to join us at the Dream Makers Dinner each year!
