Excelsior Fourth Graders Honor Veterans
Congressman Paulsen presented the school with a flag that has flown over Washington, D. C.
In the grand way they do each year, fourth grade Excelsior Elementary students celebrated Veterans Day with songs, poems and stories.
Congressman Erik Paulsen spoke to the students and brought the school a flag that flew over Washington, D. C. "It’s pretty neat to see our young people honoring these heroes," Paulsen said.
Paulsen also planned to make an appearance at Minnetonka High School in the afternoon for their Veterans Day assembly.
