TriTonka Triathlon

Mark you calendar and make the commitment to get in shape this summer, the TriTonka Triathlon is coming to Western Hennepin County.  TriTonka is an adult sprint triathlon that starts at 7am on July 17th on Little Long Lake, followed by a youth triathlon starting at Mound Westonka High School at 9:15am.

The adult course will start on pristine Little Long Lake with a 400 yd swim, then take racers through rolling rural Hennepin County for a 15.6 mile bike ride and finish with a 2.8 mile run.  Camp Kingswood will serve as the base for the adult race and has plenty of parking.

Kids ages 6 to 16 are also invited to participate in the TriTonka Youth Triathlon (formerly Hilltop Kids Triathlon) with distances that are appropriate for each age group.

Trophies will be awarded to the first three boys and girls finishers in each age class and medals go to 4th & 5th place-- 90 trophies and medals will be awarded in all. All participants will receive T-shirts in both the youth and adult races.

The TriTonka Triathlon is hosted by and benefits the Mound Westonka-Holy Family Girls Swim & Dive Team.
