Cyclists Check Out Southwest Light Rail Route

When it comes to the Southwest Light Rail project, two methods of transportation get the bulk of the attention: trains and cars. But there’s more to the project than rails and roads. Officials are working to integrate walkways and bike paths.

So it was appropriate that the North Star Chapter of the Sierra Club’s 18th annual bike tour hewed closely to the proposed Southwest LRT route from Minneapolis through the southwestern suburbs.
