Minnetonka Senior Graduates From Online Public School

Graduates of MTS Minnesota Connections Academy, a K-12 online public school that students attend from home, gathered with their peers, families and school faculty during a traditional graduation ceremony, Saturday, June 14, at Edina's South View Middle School. While students are located throughout the state, many of the one-hundred twelve graduating seniors made the trip to participate in the ceremony and walk across the stage, a rite of passage that represents years of hard work put in by students, teachers, parents and administrators.

Bailey Johnson of Minnetonka was among the graduates. Johnson's interests include reading, riding horses, playing with her dogs, teaching figure skating lessons, and spending time with her church youth group. She will attend Normandale Community College in the fall.
