Make a New Year's resolution to graduate & earn your GED!
2014 is here and now is the time to make a resolution to earn a General Educational Development (GED) degree to start on a different path in life. Earning a GED can open doors for new or continued employment, present opportunities for advancement, and give a solid foundation to head on to a 2 or 4-year college. Adult Options In Education is having free GED Orientation sessions on January 7, 2014 at 9 AM at the Eisenhower Community Center in Hopkins and on January 14, 2014 at 6 PM at the St. Louis Park High School in the AOIE Wing in St. Louis Park. Learn more about the new 2014 GED computer based exam and register for free Adult Basic Education (ABE) and GED classes at either session. Call 952-988-5343 to reserve your session.
The GED is a high school equivalency test that is fully aligned with the College and Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education, which is recommended by the U.S. Department of Education. Nearly all U.S. colleges and employers accept a GED as an equivalent to a high school diploma.
