Forget Friday Night Lights, Labor Day weekend means football fans will be cheering on their favorite high school teams on Thursday this week.
Hopkins takes on Apple Valley in the Royals’ first home game of the season. Hopkins, which is coming off a tough 41-39 loss to Chaska, will try to turn the tables by handing the Eagles a loss in Apple Valley’s inaugural game of the season. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Minnetonka will try to carry forward momentum from last week’s 43-23 victory over Hudson when the Skippers travel to Shakopee for the Sabers’ first game of the season. Fans can watch a live stream of the game on HighSchoolCube.com or in the video player above.
