The first of two Interstate 394 ramp closures happens Thursday night.
The ramp from westbound I-394 to southbound I-494 will close at 10 p.m. Thursday. It will reopen at 6 a.m. Friday.
The second closure takes place Monday on the northbound I-494 ramp to westbound Highway 12. It will reopen in late October.
During closures, drivers should follow the detours using northbound I-494 and Carlson Parkway.
The closure is part of a project to improve the flow of traffic on westbound I-394 by removing the weaving from through lanes and providing better access to I-494. The project will be complete by late October.
