Celebrate Skippers Pride

Skippers, it’s your day. Minnetonka High School’s homecoming festivities take place Friday.

A Pepfest and Royalty Coronation at 1:55 p.m. caps off in-school spirit week celebrations. For the community, a parade along Excelsior’s Water Street will take place at 4 p.m. Kickoff for the Homecoming game against Hopkins is at 7 p.m.

And don’t forget the Skippers will be trying to raise $10,000 at the game as part of the Minnesota Football Coaches Association’s “Tackle Cancer” effort. Donations can be made at the gate and during halftime. All money will benefit the Randy Shaver Cancer Research and Community Fund.
