Alan Bersten Survives Another Night on 'So You Think You Can Dance'

He was named as a bottom six dancer but wasn't eliminated Tuesday.

Host Cat Deeley announced Alan Bersten as one of the bottom six dancers at the start of this week’s So You Think You Can Dance, but a thrilling cape-twirling routine and a hip-hop number kept him on for another episode.

Alan kicked off his night with an energetic dance to X-Ray Dog’s "Return of the King" that concluded with cape twirling and a scowl at the audience.

In the partner performances, he danced with Malece Miller to "Bassline" by Chris Brown. The judges liked Malece’s moves but had faint praise for Alan.
