Minnetonka Preschool will host a Preschool Open House Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 9:30-11:30 am at the Minnetonka Community Education. Parents and children will have an opportunity to meet preschool teachers, play in the gym and take a self-guided tour of classrooms to learn how Minnetonka Preschool inspires students to wonder, discover, create and dream in a safe, nurturing environment.
Parents are encouraged to attend a “What to Look for in a Preschool” presentation to ask questions and learn more about selecting the right preschool for their child. Presentations start at 10:00 or 10:45 am. Childcare will be provided during each presentation.

More About Minnetonka Community Education Center & Preschool
Minnetonka Preschool serves children ages 2 ½ to 5. Teachers focus on social, emotional and cognitive development and are all licensed in early childhood education. In preparation for kindergarten at a Minnetonka Public School, children in 4- and 5-year-old preschool programs are exposed to Chinese and Spanish languages. Junior Explorers Club and Lunch Bunch are also offered.
Classes are 2 ½ hours long and are held at the Minnetonka Community Education Center. Classes meet for two semesters: September-January and January-May.
Online registration for fall classes takes place the preceding February.
