Tonight: Figure Skating Club Hosts Skate-A-Thon

Skaters will take 100 laps of the arena to raise funds for the club's synchronized skating teams, the Windjammers.

The Lake Minnetonka Figure Skating Club (LMFSC) is hosting a Skate-A-Thon tonight (Friday, Sept. 21) from 6-7 p.m. at the Minnetonka Ice Arena.

The event will raise funds for the synchronized skating teams, the LMFSC Windjammers. 

Skaters, grouped in teams of two, will skate 100 laps during the event with participants skating ten laps at a time until their goal has been met. Skaters must raise a minimum of $25 to participate in the event with pledges based on a per lap basis or as a total dollar amount with pledges being solicited now through Friday night.
