“In my old classroom, there were some times when they thought that I was speaking some different type of alien language,” said Noah, a fifth-grader in Minnetonka Schools’ Navigator Program. The program includes curriculum for exceptionally gifted children in grades two through five.

The Navigator Program, now in its third year, draws high-potetial students found through a screening process that includes teacher observation, parent and student input, classroom performance and standardized tests.

The program is offered at Scenic Heights and Excelsior elementary schools.

I'm curious how all kids would do with such great services! Bet they would all perform at amazing levels with such resources at their fingertips!

<georgia> Precisely! Every student deserves to have a home and school environment that meets their social, emotional, and educational needs and allows them to reach their full potential. Fortunately the Minnetonka school district understands this basic principle.
