Presidential Debate: What Would You Ask Obama and Romney?

If the first 2012 presidential debate left you with more questions than answers, here’s your chance for the presidential candidates to address the issues that most matter to you.
The next presidential debate will be a town hall meeting format at Hofstra University in Long Island on Oct. 16, where voters will ask President Obama and Mitt Romney about domestic and foreign policy.
Patch is asking you, our readers, to participate by submitting questions for the candidates.
All you have to do is post your question in the comments section below and we’ll send it to the Commission on Presidential Debates. The Commission is partnering with Patch's parent company Aol, along with Google and Yahoo, to take questions from web users across the country.

Mitt, Why did you support the draft, and the Vietnam war, then when it came time to serve your country you went to France to set out the war? Don't you think thats a slap in the face to every man and woman that ever served their country?

According to Federal News Radio, the U.S. government agencies spent $135 billion in 2008 on cost-plus type contracts and this number has continued to increase. What will each candidate do to remedy this as a cost saving measure for the American people?

A Financial Transactions Tax (FTT) of 1 cent per $100.00 of stock, bond and derivative trades would raise an estimated $200 billion per year in new revenue. Would each candidate pledge to support such a modest tax?

What do you consider affordable heath insuance? To have heath insurance for me and 2 kids is over $900 a month plus $2,500 deductable per person this price is close to a second mortgage payment for middle class which alot of people are stuggling to keep up with their first mortgage. We do not have insurance and can not afford to be forced into it either, we could loose our home with that kind of monthy bill. I guess I'll get fined (or atcually taxed) for not having it.
