Beginning Thursday, HealthPartners has opened a temporary store at Ridgedale Center in Minnetonka to sell health insurance policies as part of a "pop-up" shop trend in the industry, according to the Pioneer Press.
With new federal health care law changes coming late next year, companies are testing whether storefronts are a good way to reach the millions of new insurance customers who are expected to start buying individual policies.
