Obituary: Sean Lionel Michael Ray

The lives of Sean Ray and Judy Reid will be celebrated in a memorial service on Saturday, March 2 in Minneapolis.

 

Sean Lionel Michael Ray, 49, was killed in a car crash near Barnesville on Feb. 18, which also claimed the life of his beloved partner, Judy Reid. 

Sean was born in Manitou, Manitoba, Canada, in 1963 to Grayce (Cassidy) Ray and Timothy Ray. As a youngster, he moved with the family to various locations in the United States, settling in the Fargo/Moorhead area in 1970. He graduated from Fargo South High School in 1981 and attended North Dakota State University, excelling principally in his passion, soccer. 

The lives of Sean Ray and Judy Reid will be celebrated in a memorial service scheduled for noon on Saturday, March 2, at Lakewood Cemetery Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Avenue South in Minneapolis, with reception to follow. See Sean Ray's full obituary here.

Sean Ray was the CEO of Barnesville Easels, a Moorhead-based company specializing in art studio easels and furniture.
