Minnetonka Theatre presents the musical Aida, beginning April 26.
Aida is the modern retelling of the timeless opera about the forbidden love between an enslaved Nubian princess and an Egyptian soldier.
This passionate and energetic show features an eclectic mix of ballads and pop rock songs by Elton John and Tim Rice, the same powerhouse duo behind The Lion King.
The original Broadway production won 4 Tony Awards (including Best Score) and the Grammy for Best Musical Show Album in 2001.
