REPLAY: Bill Clinton at the University of Minnesota

The former president spoke at a rally on behalf of Barack Obama's re-election on Tuesday.

Hurricane Sandy has curtailed campaigning by President Obama and Mitt Romney, but former President Bill Clinton will speak at a campaign event for the Democratic ticket at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis Tuesday morning—and you can watch it here.

It's brought to you by The UpTake, via an internet connection that's not 100 percent reliable (due to the last-minute nature of the event), so the webcast may not be free of trouble.

If you were at the event, or watched it here, please leave a comment below or add a photo to this post. We'd like to know what you think of it.

The Republican vice presidential candidate, U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan of Wisconsin, was in Hudson, WI on Tuesday as well. Visit Hudson Patch for news of that event.

He hates Obama. Can't see why he is campaigning for him unless of course he is doing it so he can still have access to the White House. Go Romney!!!

I totally disagree with you.How do you know?, He wouldn't do that if he really hates him. Again your assumption is baseless, there's no way you can measure the inside passion of a human being.

No, I think Mary is right... Recall how nasty Obama was when he was going up against Hilliary for the nomination... It got brutal, and there is no way Slick Willy has forgotten some of things that were said... He's doing this because it keeps his stature high within the party, and it increases his access to not only Cuban cigars, but the interns to use them on...

I am embarrassed to be part of a community who leaves comments such as these when a former President of the United States takes time to come to our state and speak to students and citizens at the U of M. Of course he campaigned against Obama in the primaries 4 years ago- his wife was the top challenger! You've had your head in the sand if you think this is a sudden change. Clinton gave a rousing endorsement of Obama at the Democratic convention, and has been tirelessly speaking out on his behalf. And were you aware that Hilary is serving as the current Secretary of State? Some people cannot and will not ever see that Clinton was one of the best presidents in recent history and remains VERY popular in the country. You have no respect for the office of the President of the United States when you make such irrelevant and scurrilous statements. I really don't think the Dems would treat President Bush this way. And that begs the question: why hasn't GW campaigned for Romney? Yes, I think that says a lot about both Bush and Romney!

Kathleen, Bush has a lot of negatives associated with him and his time in office, so it's too risky to have him out campaigning... And he stammers and says dumb things almost as much as Biden... Besides, Romney can stand on his own record and performance, while Obama has to ride on Clinton's presidency...

"I really don't think the Dems would treat President Bush this way." Really? President Bush was criticized on what seemed like daily while President Obama continues to have no accountability for the long list of failures of his administration.

Thank you, President Obama for your many achievements, despite strong Republican obstructions:

+ Led the killing of Osama Bin Laden.

+ Improved US relationships with most allies.

+ Directed killing of several leaders of Al Qaida.

+ Implemented harsh sanctions on Iran.

+ Brought together coalition to remove dictator Gaddhafi from power in Libya.

+ Implemented Obamacare to provide healthcare for millions of people who previously did not have health coverage, and to mandate several health cost-cutting measures.

+ Ended the discriminatory Don’t Ask Don’t Tell policy in the military.

+ Supports same-sex marriage.

+ Supports the equal pay act to provide equal pay for women and men.

+ Led the nation out of worst recession (gotten into by Bush) in many decades.
Implemented stimulus act to revive economy.

+ Ended war in Iraq, an unnecessary and unbudgeted war started by George W Bush.

+ Began drawdown of war in Afghanistan.

+ Passed necessary Wall Street reform to prevent future financial collapse.

+ Helped turn around auto industry.

+ And, much, much more!

Obama-Biden: Going FORWARD, helping 100 percent of America, taxing the wealthy!
